Minecarts are amazing for boss battles, I killed two eyes of chutulu on expert by using my rail lines and shooting spells and stuff at him then turning around when I was out of track and stabbing him in the eye

I am pretty sure Asphalt Blocks can make you go faster in some cases, not only boosting your movement speed but making dashes from the Tabi, Master Ninja Gear and Eye of Cthulhu shields. If I remember correctly, your dash distance is quadrupled.

Edit: That being said...I wonder if the Tabi/MNG stack with the EoC Shield...?

yoyos are beast until you try to fight the wall of flesh in which case you need ranged weapons.

i had a Superior Cascade. and got wrecked. My buddy had some ranged magic weapons and my other buddy had explosives. i barely did stuff.

i mean if you get super-great yoyos like the Terrarian, then yes it can forget up the wall of flesh no problem.

I think it's pretty cool that I'm in the top 50 editors of the Terraria wiki. Although I mostly just do formatting and miscellaneous housekeeping rather than adding game information.

Everyone is using the proper Gamepedia wiki right? http://terraria.gamepedia.com/Terraria_Wiki

The Wikia wiki is significantly worse and far less up to date: http://terraria.wikia.com/wiki/Terraria_Wiki

There are a few edits every minute compared to a single edit every few minutes on the Wikia one. I'm just saying the Gamepedia wiki is better. All new things will eventually be added.
