ive decided to a fresh new world, new character, and that i was going to make a "better" treehouse base than my previous one. even though its still under construction, i would like some feedback on what i should change currently before i complete this because living wood leaves are one use items(they cant be picked up when destroyed :[[[.)

and if I remember, meteors dont land within a certain proximity to chests

yeah, meteors won't strike the middle of the world and won't try to strike within 30 tiles from chests and NPCS.

No i meant like say the npc in question is the painter, try to turn his room into an exhibition, and try to turn the merchant's house into a shop, so on and so on
