Oh, I thought that too but then I looked at the Terraria screenshots in the OP and they looked nothing alike.
Plus that texture pack is hideous

They look everything alike. It's actually closer to a 32x32 Terraria in 3D. The textures in Terraria are 16x16.

The texturepack is the default 16x16 size. Its just that the textures in Terraria are stylized 16x16 but I'm a wizard and I scaled them down to 8x8 and did more magic to make it back to 16x16.
