The size of the blocks is kind of annoying, I think I just need a better pickaxe though.

Yeah, the size of the blocks + low tier pickaxes suck. The beginning is probably the worst part of the game since everything takes so long.

In other news, I was just incinerated by a random piece of floating magma. Nice.

If rocket boots used mana I would consider spawning in hell for a bit, the problem is the only straightfoward way to hell is down a hellavator.

There's actually a very, very small amount of enemies spawning in there. The main issue I get is the imps teleporting in and the bone serpents.

Well yeah the imps are what I was talking about, those forgeters are annoying. :o

it takes about 5 minutes to get from hell to the main world using rockets+grapple, depending on how rough the chasm you built is. You could'd launch yourself up with the grapple quickly if you have the space to do so.

I like to keep mine 4 or 6 spaces wide.
