The learning curve is that of a smooth upward rock. Try to use a video guide or something else of the likes.

So I tried watching the 2.5 hour tutorial and got about an hour in, so instead I am going to stream, you guys are going to tell me what to do, and I do it. Keep in mind the stream has a 7-8 second delay so I am not responding slow.

True, but if it's painful to look at or its nearly impossible to discern what is happening then it can break the game.

Honestly, I'd like to learn to play the updated version of Dwarf Fortress, but you have to like, get dirt and irrigate water or something with the farming and it's all weird and backwards for me.

I can never lose nobody against a goblin siege. Even though I have 30, steel-armed and armored dwarves, some idiot always charges and gets butchered.
