Well, I've brought up two weapons of which you have responded to.

You hate them both.

This means you have every weapon I bring up.

Because you cant cloak on command

You can cloak, you can't disguise.

I see it as a bit of a training weapon. IMO if you can kill efficiently without a disguise, you will kick ass with one.

You say that like you will never be disguised. Players using YER will spend more time disguised than players using the regular knife. As soon as you get one undisguised backstab, you're basically a spy with all of the advantages and none of the disadvantages. It also makes taking out sentry nests way too easy when you can backstab an engie and not lose a disguise.

Not to mention 99.9% of YER users camp in corners with C&D so they can uncloak for 2 seconds to get a kill, then go back to camping. I've never seen a skilled spy using YER.

I've got tired of using the YER when I was getting killed by sentries, so I just use my strange knife.

I got a 9 killstreak with my Saharan spy set + dead ringer on hightower once.

IMO if you can get a backstab with the YER and not miss you're golden.

Pardon me. You cant Disguise. Its probably the most useful thing a spy can do. Its the only way you can get close to foes from behind without draining your cloak
