That was scammed, not ripped off, he told the guy a false price and took it, I've been in plenty of trades in which the other person was foolish to accept, but I've never down right told someone something was trash and took their item for dirt.

Scamming is like if I'm selling someone a really rare unusual witch is 16 refined, and I had a middle man who was in on a deal to take off with all the metal once he had it. Or if I said I'd give someone my Bills for DoD:S and he gifted the game and I didn't trade, or I gave him he beret and I didn't get the game.

That's scamming. He just got horribly ripped off.
