I'm currently searching around the internet right now for a solution, but I thought I'd post here while I'm doing so.

When I start up TF2, my server list is fine for about 30 seconds. After that, servers won't load. Every few minutes I manage to load maybe 2-3 servers from the entire Internet tab, and on a very rare occasion I'm able to load most of the servers. When I exited TF2 during one of these periods, it appears my internet is dying. My computer still tells me I'm connected to the network and to the internet, but I can't load any webpages (DNS error apparently). This only happens when I start up TF2 so I can only assume it's to blame.

I've tried deleting some files so Steam redownloads them, changing the download speed to Cable/56k, replacing MasterServers.vdf and MasterServer2.vdf, and editing the registry (I found these solutions via Google already). Nothing's working.

A. My router can't handle the server refresh requests
B. It won't take the updated firmware
C. Refreshing the Internet tab floods it

I have a similar problem.
When I connect to my first server after starting TF2. I lose internet for 40 seconds after about 30 seconds of gameplay.
After that it is fine, but if I restart Tf2 I will have to do it again.
But killing floor, I would lose connection if I tried to join most servers.(modded ones mainly) after reconnecting, no servers would appear.

Also, that Blutsauger's '-2 health drained per second on wearer' thing doesn't really work, or it does work and it's not doing anything due to the Medic being able to slowly regenerate health I read about it on the TF2 Wiki, it's apparently 'Health regeneration lowered by 2 HP/sec. (1–4 HP/sec)', so good job on wording that in a misleading way, Valve!
