I drew a few ideas for weapons. Like that fancy garden nozzle than you can twist the front part to change the water shape and stuff, but with a long barrel adjusted to fire bullets, swapping the use between melee, shotgun, and pistol. It's adorned with team colors. You'd load it in the bottom where you usually put in the hose. Taunting sprays water that removes the fire effect on others and 1/9 chances it will shoot fire mysteriously. So it's specs would be
+ 50% damage compared to Scattergun, Pistol, and Bat
 | Takes up whole Scout inventory
- 30% explosive damage
- 10% weapon change time
- 10% less damge dealt to buildings

Also I was thinking that, if there was a Dead Space 3 TF2 would get a new wrench and sentry for the Engineer. The wrench would have a battery attached above the grip that glows with the team color. The color itself would be rusty black with a worn out rubber handle. The sentry is a laser shooter that widens its shot a bit and adds 1 more shooter every level (obviously third one would make it slightly wider and makes it fire 3 widened lasers. Specs would be
+ 50% damage dealt
+ 20% moving speed
+ Sentries hold 50% more ammo and have 50% more health

- To make Sentry requires 150 metal
- Requires 300 metal for a Sentry upgrade and 400 for a Dispenser upgrade
- 50% fire damage

Sentry that upgrades by player/sentry causing damage.
Causing damage also replenishes ammo/health/sappers of said sentry.
Wearer does not get a wrench.

Allready made but it's still a cool sentry.
Only downside is you can't upgrade tele's/Dispensers.

In other words if there's a sapper on your sentry you'd have to damage another player to remove it.

That would literally be a straight downgrade, so now you can't help your sentry or even upgrade buildings without putting yourself in danger, in what way would this be better to have than...you know..a WRENCH?

Edit: The ONLY time this would work, is when you are a battle engie with the mini-sentry...but oh wait, you don't get a wrench, so you can't even do that.

I don't think you're getting the point.
You put the sentry in a deffensive location.
Go out and actually fight, Sentry eventually gets to level 3.
The Sentry would hold its own without you actually having to be there to constantly hit it with a wrench.
I've had a level one/two sentry kill a medic/heavy pair without me being there.

Then they were probably awful. But I like your idea. Battle-Engis are fun.

And no, it really isn't a good idea aml, in case you forgot, engies carry a SHOTGUN, it's effective at CLOSE RANGE, the engineer has 125 hp, if you manage to kill ANY class without being behind them, it's luck, or they suck.

Besides, why not build a sentry, level it to 3 and go fight, seems more sensible.

I never said it was a good Idea.
You people asked for a new sentry I gave you one that's allready made.
It's a lot easier to defend when you have a sentry that heals itself.
Your shotgun + a sentry is a lot better then just a sentry.

and to your question, Leaving a normal sentry like that would cause it to die quickly because I'd have to be there almost 24/7 smacking it with my wrench to keep it''s health and ammo up.

I'm confused by this statement because I have a Strange Shotgun...

You're hating on the shotgun, saying it's hard to get kills with. It's not really.

You're implying the Engineer is a weak fighter.
The pistol can do like 10-15 damage, with 12 bullets.

If you look at it, his pistol could take down half of the classes in one clip.
Then again that's with perfect accuracy, so lets say 2 clips per kill.

The shotgun also does crazy damage at close range, something like 50-100.

Don't underestimate him.
