Here's my story of watches and my skill as spy, through time.

First when I got f2p,  I was a spy with the invisiwatch. I wasn't good, but wasn't too bad.

Spy was the first class I got all milestones on. I had both watches. I picked Cloak and Dagger because it could recharge when cloaked. I sucked somewhat.

Then a while later I lost both to crafting. I used the stock. I sucked slightly less.

And when I got my dad to put 150 roubles (basically $5) I bought a key, and spy and sniper starter packs. The spy bundle had the ambassador, a dead ringer and a fitting-for-my-tastes Fancy Fedora. It didn't come with the other cloak, so I used the included one. I was being actually good.

I traded some unrelated stuph for a vintage cloak'n'dagger, only to find out I wasn't as good with it anymore. I eventually traded it away.

I used the Dead Ringer because it could help me fake my own death and get away safely if i found myself ultimately forgeted. Plus you did not take most damage when hit with the watch out. The downside was, I only could cloak if I was injuried with it out. I couldn't cloak manually.
