reserve shooter is pretty much a crutch
youre not likely to see higher-tier pyros using it over the shotgun or flaregun.
only because it's banned in UGC, it's a viable secondary imo why take the crit flare for 90 when you can take the crit reserve for 150?

possibly because you can cause afterburn damage + crit damage from a range with the flaregun and with the reserve you need to get up close and personal?

pyro is an ambush class, why play back when you can deal outstanding damage up front?

possibly because then the pyro has something to attack snipers with (if out of distance/too high) or to stop enemy spies if they leave early or if he cloaks and is out of range

plus, the pyro has a flamethrower for a reason
:v

smart snipers will just dodge the flares, plus your job isnt to counter snipe with flares, go sniper for that.

indeed, the pyro does have the flamethrower for a reason.

but meh
I'm really in no position to be discussing this considering I use a strange shotgun

if you're entering the battlefield and arent close to anyone its nice

stuff no

I'm mad because it is the most skill-less primary in the game, save for phlog

So true. I use this loadout:

Strange L'etranger (sometimes swapped for stock)
Strange Knife (hardly ever swapped, except for when I had a Strange conniver's)
Strange Dead Ringer (Once again, hardly ever swapped, unless there's a tough engie nest, then I CnD t victory)

Really annoying battling a spy with Enforcer, he shoots me once, crit, dead. Shoots me 2 or 3 times, dead. I, personally, love the l'etranger, it is so useful with Dead Ringer. Feign death, uncloack, shoot a guy a few times, do some stuff, repeat.
Also, I was saddened when I got a lot of kills on my knife, then I added my Heavies Killed to it, and now it looks like I hardly kill heavies ):

Trading anything of value in my backpack for a grenadiers softcap

it makes killing easier due to minicrits, and limits you with less shots
i doubt it would be used much even if it wasn't banned in UGC.

also does anyone have a strange ambassador for trade?

my loadouts:

S. Shortstop, S. Mad Milk, Holy Mackerel
S. Black Box, V. Gunboats, S. Equalizer
S. Degreaser, S. Flare Gun, S. Axtinguisher
S. Grenade Launcher, V. Charging Targe, S. Bottle
S. Festive Minigun, V. Sandvich, S. Gloves of Running Urgently
S. Frontier Justice, Wrangler, S. Jag
S. Crusaders Crossbow, S. Medigun/S. Quick Fix, S. Amputator
S. Sniper Rifle, S. Jarate, S. Bushwacka
S. Ambassador, S. Knife, S. Dead Ringer

Saw that before, not sure what causes that but it's very silly
