At about 9 seconds in, you can see that it barely hits the ramp, enough to change it into a roller but not enough to alter its course majorly.

It then bounces off the lucky scout like a good roller.

projectiles will bounce off of you in the case of rollers and stickies. its kinda hard to explain, but it bounces off an area you can see, probably the head hitbox. the reload and the area where the roller bounced just happened to be the same spot.
