Personal game opinion. Bad Company  has pretty good graphics for 08 and the destructible environments were really cool.

Nick who?
I forget there's eighty-six Nicks.
General Nick/Nickelob Ultra/Nick's a Faty

They're not that great.
Personal game opinion.

Yet you hate them because they're popular and that makes you a hipster friend and a pox on gaming as a hole.

Good job.

I hate it because it's the same generic alien vs superhuman stuff x4. Does that make me a hipster friend?

I don't hate it for being popular I hate it for being mediocre.

You've never even played a Halo game, Reach was a triumphant comeback more than made up for the mediocrity of Halo 3.

Every FPS in the franchise besides Halo 3 was a masterpiece, the first two revolutionized the FPS gaming industry and nearly every game design concept seen in modern shooters is ripped from Halo: Combat Evolved. It was basically the Ocarina of Time for the FPS market.

The Chief ain't got nothing on the Duke.

DNF is critically acclaimed as a horrible, generic, and boring FPS. You're basing your opinions on a nostalgia factor for something you weren't even there for. Duke Nukem isn't a franchise you grew up with, you only support a game that's pretty much 3 steps below CoD 2 in every criteria because you think it's edgy.

Me too :C

Yep.

ITT: Complain about Halo.

I played Halo 1, I liked it.  I don't think it's game of the year, but it's all right.

Besides, Microsoft/Bungee must have done something right to get as many players as it does.

Whoa now, I am 21 years old. I've been playing Duke Nukem since I was 6 years old. My father played Duke Nukem too.

Hating a FPS for having space marines and aliens makes you a stupid friend. If you wanted an FPS RPG, you had things like Elder Scrolls and King's Field during the reign of Halo: CE. The game doesn't try to sell itself on story, the story is only there to string together shooty-explosion sequences for your amusement, it's a game, not an interactive story.

If you're seriously going to neglect polished gems because of cliched themes, you're ruling out the entire Battlefield franchise, the Call of Duty franchise, Killzone, and Resistance.

It's funny because you act like you're 12.

I hated the part in the single player where you're in the Flood compound and all the rooms are copy+pasted in a way that you get lost. The multiplayer was what made it shine though, and I forgive lazy level design for the multiplayer experience the game gave.

My friend is almost 18 and played Duke Nukem 3D

That was probably the dumbest comment Ive seen today. Lol

Yep

I think stocking is butthurt that his favorite game has been made fun of.

I haven't touched Reach in over a year, I have about 9 hours total played in Halo 3. It's not my favorite game by a long shot, I just like pointing out idiocy when I see it.
