They made ryze deal less damage if you build him tank, its a pretty big nerf. Ryze is a mage with 0 ways to get out of focus from teamfights so, building him less tanky is going to hurt.

The highest mana item is an archangel staff, which also gives ability power from your max mana.
1.5% mana ratio nerf (on single target spells)

1% mana ratio buff (on a multi target spell)
+
20% ap ratio buff (which means 0.6% of mana because of archangel staff)
Translates into...
0.1% mana ratio buff
AD Sona cause it's viable but not too many people expect it.
AD Sona is only 'viable' because any champion with a ranged autoattack can be played an AD carry. Just not as well as others. Sona falls under the "not as well as others". However, just because one champion is not as effective as the enemy of the same role, does not guarantee the loss of the less effective champion. Most of it depends on the actions of all the summoners. This is why three of the worst champions, Teemo, Nunu, and Evelynn, can still dominate a game.
I dare you to try AD Sona in a tournament.
What are all of your funnest champions in the game?
Shen. Teleporting everywhere, giving massive shields, and watching the enemy shed a single tear as they cannot control their champion anymore.
Alistar. Heavy CC, an ultimate that scales his HP and goes great with a trinity force, and telling people they get the horns.
Teemo. I laugh every time I get a kill 20 seconds after I recall or die. It's also fun eating an enemy AD carry by blinding them and stuffing other chemicals into their bloodstream. Also global taunt + invisibility.
Nidalee. Global taunt and infinite flash. Spears that deal damage of a high speed transport truck and is a skillshot so you don't need vision. Stealing baron with a trap.
