Just installed the game, any tips for a new guy?

Do not use recommended builds. Especially on certain characters. Look up a build online. Get in the habit of paying attention to the mini map i.e. look for enemies that are missing in lane. Kill as many creeps as possible, unless you are playing as a support. Play easy champions at first, such as Garen or Xin Zhao.

Isn't it Spirit Visage that increases all healing effects by 15%?

Unless they changed it from PBE, it's 30% at level 5. Even Sunfire is kinda useful because of it.

Spirit visage works on any top champ that has healing or builds bt, it works perfectly against ad not just ap take renek for example,with wickds build. :p

Hecarim is so much fun. E > R > W > Q > spam Q with autoattacks in between. trinity force is nice on him. going to have to try spirit visage like you guys mentioned.
