Author Topic: Kerbal Space Program, Or: How I learned to stop worrying and love THRUSTERRRSSSS  (Read 357020 times)

I feel like this thread and this game in general should be more popular.

Good news, my new design worked.
Made it into orbit, landed on the mun.
Had some problems with the fuel amounts, but I've adjusted that for my next flight.
Now I'll just have to take off to test that, and when it's right I'll just need to get my landing accuracy for my site on the mun right =)

Ever since .15 my game crashes every 5 minutes.
So I can't play it anymore, which sucks. Sometimes I'm able to successfully do something, but I give up until it's fixed.

omgfw how does anyone manage to make it to Mun. I get up into low orbit and then I try and roll my spacecraft towards Mun and refire rockets to start going in that direction but then the whole rocket derps and flips around in space so I just end up trying to make a design that can fly the farthest.

seriously
it's easy

I love this game, even when the rocket blows up before it gets 10 feet in the air.

that's the best part bro

Either that, or when the rocket gets about 100 feet in the air and then "HOLY JESUS THE ENGINES BROKE WE'RE GOING DOWN."

Actually trying this haha.

But yea, there are alot of youtube tutorials out there.

It's actually easy. You just need to align your orbit very closely with the other ship. Once you get the hang of modifying orbits you'll be able to do this easy. After they are aligned, just switch to another ship landed on earth to warp faster. Just watch a YouTube tutorial because I'm not sure how to explain it without a visual example.
