When is 0.8.1 coming out? WITH SYMMETRY MODE AAAAAAAAAAAA
What is Symmetry Mode?

Can't wait for the "not deleting parts you want to keep, but you want to add something inbetween them and the capsule" update. :D

I never knew you were supposed to get to space until I looked at the posts on the topic....

The 18th. Calm down.

Just finished the Blaman 2 (creative, right?)
Currently at 2000km and counting, moving at 3500m/s.
When my final rocket ran out of fuel I was going at roughly 4000m/s, that was at around ~700km. My velocity is hardly going down now.
Might upload it later. At the moment it's incredibly unstable and wobbly at launch. We need support struts :/
Also it's 10 stages.

You're not necessarily obliged to get to space, but it's a nice achievement should you do so and makes you feel good about yourself.

Okay the ship I built didn't work

+5000 for the dr.strangelove reference.
looks fun as hell.

Haha got up to 25800 meters with one ship I made.

Please tell me what your rocket looks like!

Here

I could even get higher if only I remembered that the liquid rockets had to have a fuel tank above them.(see top section)

a really simple rocket to use is this:

parachute
command center
Decoupler
SAS
Solid rocket booster
decoupler
sas
sas (optional, play around with it)
3-way thing
fuel tank
fuel tank
liquid rocket

If that makes sense, it can be a good starting rocket.

I've just been letting it run in the background.
10000+ km @ ~3200m/s
Beat it friends.

36,000 M is a good height, right?
