and now for something real. apparently.

no i'm serious, this isn't me richarding around. this actually existed.
of course it can't fly (it explodes as soon as it loads it) but it was cool to make i guess.
i also tried making the Vic Viper but i dont feel like posting planes here until i make sure they can actually fly. why is it so damn difficult to make actual spaceplanes?

Ekranoplan

Also ground effect-vehicle. Doesn't really fly.

Those jet engines are a few meters too small it seems.

Oh god excuse me while I locate one of my monstrosities.
One day I set out on a mission to create something that could blast off to prettymuch anywhere.

This is the result. Meet "Round the World", which keeps on breaking out of planetary orbit and becoming irretrievable.
At first, there was the "Round". It was a rocket with one solid booster in the center and eight more solid boosters spaced around it.
Then the "Rounder" improved on that by adding another ring outside the eight, comprised of sixteen boosters.
Then the "Roundest" came along and added another 24 boosters in a third ring. There was also an unmanned joke called the "Crowndest" which just had some non-aerodynamic long points on the tips of the boosters, and due to the way it sat upon being spawned, the bottoms would weigh inward so that the top spread out and looked like some sort of crown.
Then I figured out that the engines were spaced too close together and that was why the fins were being clipped every time a ring was ejected.
So the "Rounder Fix" had 8 boosters in the inner ring and 24 in the outer ring, only two rings. The rings were spaced further apart.
Then the "Roundest Fix" added another ring with 40 more boosters on a new outer ring.
Then I put a longer solid fuel booster underneath each existing booster, all of which are activated at once to create the monstrosity that you witness here, the "Round the World".
"Round the World" always blows up the launchpad when it is spawned. Thankfully, the framerate drops below 1 every time I spawn it, which gives me enough time to activate the first set of 73 boosters before anything besides the launch pad has exploded.
Bad idea? Yes. Entertaining? Also yes.
Goes 73 -> 40 -> 24 -> 8 -> 1

It also creates this nifty pillar of fire and exhaust behind it as it rises.

VALENTINA ENTERS THE FRAY

So they DO reproduce using females!

But is it similar to our human method of creating babies? Internet you must answer these questions and show us pics of course.

VALENTINA ENTERS THE FRAY
Something about the eye placement doesn't look right.

At all.

maybe its the rounder head

it's wider than a male kerbal's.
