I've only landed on the moon successfully once.
I've crashed into it twice.
Getting to it is barely any trouble anymore, but I just can't seem to land.
The last time my fuel tank showed about 8 percent, I knew, that if if possible, I could use it all at once and slow myself down. I hit the ground right before I realized I had the mini fuel tank that I use as my last resort. If I remembered that, I prolly could of made it. :c
I use C7 pack just because it's prettier.

I think G Force should be able to kill some of the astronauts.
Like, you suddenly start 10 rockets at once on full throttle and it shakes all/1 or 2 of the kerbals to death.
Once dead the ship would just keep going and you won't be able to control it.

That's planned in the near future.

I know it works quite well, it's very stable and all the stages work as planned, but I'm too lazy to actually TRY to get to the moon.

Go to 80,000 M
Go 2300 m/s
Thrust downwards to stop increasing in altitude for steady 80,000 M.
Make sure you are still going 2300 m/s

You have just made a very smooth orbit.
About 65 is the minimum for orbit, but I don't recommend anything under 80.

EDIT: I'm currently designing a new ship to get to the Mün. My old one barely makes it, but that's really just my fault. I spend more time correcting my flight than using it to get there. I still need a more stable rocket.
Gonna get the sunny pack or whatever it's called.

What does RCS do? And some of my parts seemed to be a discolored pink color. What can I do to fix that?
