yeah but these optimizations still dont happen or at least they dont note that they do. they just keep bumping up the quality which in turn lowers the performance
because they keep adding new updates??? what part of this sequence
features, then bug fixes, then optimizations
confuses you?

where are these optimizations youre talking about
i dont see any
all i see is features then bug fixes. repeat

if optimizations were in then performance wouldnt lower with every update. but it does. even if optimizations are done but performance still takes a hit, its time for a better strategy or better effort. youre going to go only so far until the game becomes unplayable

that sequence is for the entire lifetime of the development, not just the small cycles for individual patches. optimizations always go last.

HULLO ITS SCOTT MANLEY HEEUR
the thing you always want to hear ^

enough with the people who don't embrace this though, think of Danny2462

i made a rover that has not succumbed to exploding :)

the spaceplane plus parts have really high impact ratings so i put all the fragiles in the cargo hold, and lightly shield the drone cores with plates

Danny2462 and Scott Manley are the two awesomest KSP players ever.

Clearly you have never heard of Whackjob

if you need anything brought into space, he'll probably get it in there using way too much struts and fuel

I've found my new rocket design

So interstellar mod is completely broke for me:

Thermal, Attila, and plasma engines basically require no power to operate and do weird stuff.

I tried posting on KSP forums, but apparently posts have to be approved by a moderator and it's not happening.

need 3 things: your ksp data output log, your mod list, and versions.

Reinstalled Interstellar and it's definitely working differently now, have no idea if it works though.
Also, it forgeted up my tech tree. I might have to edit a file or cheat somehow to reresearch that stuff.

you can look up online how to do persistence editing, or you can use hyperedit to just get a good amount of science from other places by plopping stuff down on the surface and doing experiments, then cheating it back to kerbin. either way.

is .25 out or am i missing something
