That sucks bro. I got a second degree burn from a cookie tray when I was 7 or 8. I still have the scar. I hope you and your family get better. c:

Did you ever find out what caused the explosion or did they never discover it?

Anyway, hope you pull out. Probably the only near death experience I had was when I wiped out going down an Italian slope, I then crashed into the plastic rope mesh at the side. If I went a bit faster I may of plummeted through it and off the edge.

I can imagine that's the most scariest thing you've ever experienced. I've never been in a life/death situation myslef and I can't imagine how horrible that must've been. Hope you get better soon.

On a lighter note was the girlfriend of one of the son's yours? ;)
