So when it's released how long are you guys gonna play this for?

Im gonna try for a marathon every day after school.
Hell no, I don't know about you guys but school work still has somewhat of a priority to me.

I'll play some when I'm free, and I hope to do a lot of my work during free periods the Tuesday BF3 comes out but there's no way I'll go on a marathon.

The new border map or whatever its called doesn't look like a very ground troop friendly map, but thats what I like to do, hopefully it will still be fun

i have:
8 gb ram
i7 860 processor
running on 1600x900
what GPU would i need to max this out, minus AA rape? would a gtx 570 do? or would i have to bump up to a 580?

oh cool three posts in a row about the same thing

he tables have turned. A day after we gladly reported that console gamers would be getting this great PC feature called “server browser”, we can now report that PC gamers won’t have an in-game server browser. DICE’s Alan Kertz has confirmed that in order to switch servers, you have to exit Battlefield 3, and use Battlelog to find another server and join.
Granted, Kertz points out that BF3 “starts up really fast”, but we can’t imagine it being more effective than having an in-game server browser, which has been the norm in PC games for decades — in fact, there’s no other game that requires you to exit in order to switch servers.
Considering that server switching is frequent among gamers, either because of rage quitting or trying to find a better game, or something third, this could cause some annoyance. We’ll have to wait and see how it plays out (no pun intended) when Battlefield 3 is released. So far, it’s kinda disappointing news, but we’ll see how it turns out in the end.

TL;DR PC won't get the server browser and consoles can. How ironic, lol

More attention to the PC version

DICE/EA, forget yourself, what are you planning to do by taking out the server browser, that definitely proves less attention to the PC version.

Alpha testers say that the system they're using now is way better than server browsers.

"its not a problem. let me explain. i played the alpha and when u go into a game u simply load the map, not the interface like menus and so on… so it goes as fast as normal to load the game and map.

The different is that the browser isnt ingame but in the browser. AND its not bad. When i joined a game i didnt have to have the game up when map was loading, i could do other things.. look on webpages, check out skype and so on. That is really awesome in my opinion.

Give it a try guys, you may find it wired in the begining but u will like it and think its awesome. see yaa on the battlefield"

I wish I could get in BETA.

The beta is open, you can get in it...?
