Are you saying steam is stuffty?
Origin is generally the same kind of thing as steam, just run by a different company.

Steam is a DRM and you said that you think DRMs are stuffty.
No, I did not.

Also, buying the game from origin would only support the propagation of stuffty digital download services, which would effectively give the PC platform the equivalent of xbox VS ps3.
What I am complaining about is that if the trend of game publishers exclusively putting their games on their own digital distribution platform, then PC will become just like Xbox and PS3, with different games being only on their respective download service. I never said anything about DRM because having DRM is implied with having a digital distribution platform.

I don't see the terrible problem with that, seeing as the distribution platforms are free.

You don't have a problem with switching between different programs to play games and managing your friends lists between platforms?

My hub account would be on steam. Any friends I make I would have add me on steam. If they don't have steam, oh well.

Boo hoo, you need to take an extra 9 seconds to see what your friends are doing, what a time consumer!

I use origin, steam, and impulse.

I'm more concerned with the general idea of having to use multiple platforms to play games, and the inconvenience that it would be. As I said before, all these digital distribution platforms would probably split PC the same way that there are Xbox and PS3 exclusive games.

Except not because
the distribution platforms are free.

Would you be happy if someone made a digital distribution platform for digital distribution platforms, then you can manage origin and steam easily!

You seem to be forgetting that games aren't, and once you buy them they are linked to the respective platform you purchased it from.

Okay. So I'll use that free platform. I'm still not seeing the comparison between xbox and ps3.

BF3 fans seem to love MW3 videos.
They watch, rate, and comment every one!

but seriously. I understand that there's some sensible people out there in the BF community, but these few that bash CoD at every oppourtunity make it seem like it's full of babbling idiots.

Yeah! Lousy people with their opinions!

Why aren't there any servers hosting Caspian Border up anymore?
