Yes, you unlock them after you get a certain amount of points in a vehicle.

Ps3. Controllers have better vehicle control IMO.
Especially planes.

My brother bought it for the xbox and hates it. He liked BC2 more.
He says the engine is screwed up and the destruction isn't as good.
I haven't tried it yet :o

I have to agree with him on the destruction part.
There's barely anything to break.

They need to get their stuff together and fix Quick Match, make it actually possible to play with your friends in a squad online without it putting everyone in a different match/different team, and most of all fix the loving team deathmatch bullstuff spawning. I spawn and within 1/4th of a second I'm dead because a guy is 1 foot behind where you spawn facing you

friends (Stealing your AA truck while you're repairing it)
Trolls (Loading a helicopter full of people            then crashing it)
Lag
Trying to get flares on helicopters (Omg)

There are some people who legitimately cannot fly the helicopter, but yeah.
