Tanks can't shoot me because I'm not a scrub who flies in a straight line and makes a perfect target.

I've successfully strafed mobile AA with rockets numerous times. Successfully meaning I hit them with every rocket and destroyed it. Meaning I had to fly in a straight line directly towards them for about five seconds.

Arrow keys to turn when evading or not in combat, mouse for aiming.

You used the mouse mostly for verticle control and wing pitch. You used A and D for turning left or right without any pitch change. W and S for forward and if you held S long enough, vtol mode on certain jets.

Flying jets + PS3 controller = amazing. The majority of players on PS3 wreck at flying jets, too.
I've got to try flying on a PC, I'm sure it's horrific.

My reply was poorly worded. Yes I have flown in BF2 before, but never in an online multiplayer game. I really didn't like BF2 all that much to be honest.

My internet sucks and I have 1.0 so I just play with bots. It's decently fun, but also one of the only FPS's i have.
