Who here used Air Radar.
I need some opinions of it.
I've yet to use it for some reason. I'm interested too because I'd rather have Stealth and have enemies have a harder time locking on in combination with my flying skills.
I suck richard at jets.
Every time I use one, I hit a helicopter a bunch of times, but then I either overheat, overshoot the helicopter, or crash into the helicopter itself.
Any tips to getting a single point with jets?
Jets don't overheat. You may have caught an engine fire from taking damage which will kill you at some point if don't get out, but no overheating. I've flown in a single jet in one life for 20 minutes maybe.
You need to go for easy targets though. Shooting other jets with the basic machine gun is very difficult unless they're newbies. Helicopters, or just fly around as a squad leader and give orders like ArmyGuy said, you'll gain points then.
You'll unlock flares, then heat seeking missiles. Once there, you're good for air-to-air combat pretty much. ONLY use flares once you hear a solid beeeeeeeeeeeeeeep noise, that means you have been locked on and a missile has been fired. I've shot down so many idiots with lock-on missiles because they're idiots and preemptively launch flares when I haven't even got a successful lock yet, then once I do get a lock... (click click), (PSHEWWW PSHEWWW)... VEHICLE DISABLED +200 ENEMY KILLED +100.
Learn to fly a jet. There is a turbo in jets just like for tanks. Learn to manipulate with your mouse, and learn physics is all I can say. Pressing decelerate/reverse while flying will make you go slow, which makes for easy targeting. Don't use it too much or you may get targeted, but if you do, use a combination of speed (accelerating, using turbo, or both) and maneuvers to lose your enemy. I have dodged missiles without even having to launch flares (because I had launched them already unfortunately) just by doing extreme maneuvers.
