compared to the other pistols? yeah, it is. if you fire at the same time at typical pistol engagement distance at someone with a 93r or a g18, you'll lose unless you get a headshot. the fire rate is so slow that they can kill you at close range before you get another shot off.
Yeah it's not like I'm trying to win a gunfight with a powerful pistol against firearms that HAVE THE HIGHEST FIRING RATE OF ANY OTHER WEAPON.It's not like everyone uses these darn gatling guns
The FAMAS has the highest firing rate at 1000 RPM.
Well on PS3 the FAMAS has a firing rate of 900 RPM and the G18 and 93R a firing rate of 1100 RPM.Doesn't make a big difference though since they are all still overpowered.
Battlelog has been wrong on many accounts. The FAMAS does fire at 1000 RPM and the machine pistols fire at a rate below 1100, I don't know the exact number though.

i haven't seen the su-25 frogfoot on any maps, either i'm blind or somethings wrong...anyway i prefer the Colt m1911 good power, fire rate, and decent magazine size (or is it clip...)
