Is there an efficient way of dodging missiles in a jet without using flares.

first, find out where the missiles are coming from.
Step 2: brake and do a u-turn as hard as you can towards the incoming projectile.
Step 3: Turn on your AB and do a barrel roll!
congratulations, you have just dodged an incoming heatseek. :)

Slow down to an Airspeed of about 270, and hold a tight circle.

Dodging Missiles: Updated!

1) Know where the missile in coming from
2) Try and get away as fast as possible
3) Listen for the lock. When you hear the quick beeps, slam on the e-brake turning sharp toward the left or right
4) It's also good to turn at a slight slant.

Scar-h is the most annyoing weapon in close range, it's like every time an engineer kills me it's rockets or scar-h. I can't remember the name of its assault equivelant, but I know it isn't ammo efficient.

So I got the final hit on a tank today...





With my assault rifle.

Only pussies dodge missiles, real men do a loop and shoot the Missile down.

when you are in the air for a very large portion of your bf3 game time you never even need to worry about someone locking on to you.

I use air radar, extinguisher and rocket pawds.
I wish they hadn't nerfed the jet cannon :(
