I'm not a big fan of dumping speed though.
No one knows that the ideal turn speed for jets is around 270. I usually keep speed around there, a tad slow for flankers to fly all the time, and it allows me to turn sharply without hovering.
Lol you don't need to turn in an F35. Harriers are not meant for turning/chasing anything in the skies. If you see something you stop, hover, aim, then shoot, the zoom off again. Think of it as a giant turret that needs to stop and rotate 360 to shoot everything. A lot of people mistaken the Harrier as a regular jet.

See the difference?

F35 looks less stupid and cluttered.

Harriers hover. F35s hover. Harriers have machine guns. F35s have machine guns. Harriers are flat-looking jets. F35s are flat- looking Jets.
See the similarities?

Except the F35 is slim and sleek, and the Harrier Jump Jet is a clusterforget of stupid looks.

even as it seems, they both were meant to do the same job.

Not all F35s are capable of hovering.
Neither plane carries machine guns.
You don't know what "flat" means because neither of those planes are flat.

The P38 Lightning of the second world war was a ground attack plane, are you implying that it is interchangeable with modern aircraft simply because it fulfilled a similar role?
