Episode 1 (The Composer)

It is always important to try to be careful when you make a movie. But part of the development process is identifying errors you made. And for viewers, reading and finding those errors can be a fun part of the viewing experience. If you notice any more slip-ups please report them for the list.

Major spoiler alert! Do not read if you haven't seen the movie!

Revealing Mistakes
In the scenes where Peggling is observed through pannng, a building on Main Street is clearly a facade as you can see the grass through the windows.

Incorrectly Regarded As Goofs
In the first two ocean scenes, the water is clearly a different texture to what is dictated in later scenes of the series. However, one could assume that due to the change of day and sky, the water would equally change in color and movement.

Incorrectly Regarded As Goofs
In the scene when Vivian is fired by IcyGamma, Vivian doesn't move even as Icy leaves the room. However, in the script Vivian is shocked by the decision. Being a weaker personality, he is does not make eye contact with Icy and instead stands there stunned.

Continuity Error
In the earlier scene when Ryan is briefly seen standing as the camera rolls past him, he is using a computer screen that has a black case. In the later scene when we see a feed of Gammer through a webcam, the monitor case is now a light grey and the screen is 1 stud higher.

Continuity Error
In the scene where Gammer meets with Henry and Murdock on the industrial corner of Ragref and Cannon Street, Murdock is wearing a black shirt. In all other scenes throughout the series, Murdock is wearing a grey shirt with black arms.

Technical Error
In multiple scenes at the end of the episode as Gammer approaches Isar on a boat,  the screen is slightly more narrower in height.

Trivia
In the scene when Ryan is shown in a flashback getting weapons from a storage facility, you can see a duck in the back room perched on a window.

Goofs & Trivia
Episode 2 (Hornets Nest)

It is always important to try to be careful when you make a movie. But part of the development process is identifying errors you made. And for viewers, reading and finding those errors can be a fun part of the viewing experience. If you notice any more slip-ups please report them for the list.

Major spoiler alert! Do not read if you haven't seen the movie!

Continuity Error
In the scene when Icy is caught and Gammer goes to play the radio, the generator is clearly off and not running. When it pans back to IcyGamma, who is being pushed into the room by Henry, the generator is running.

Continuity Error
When Gammer is in a bathroom practicing his IcyGamma voice, he bends down to change clothing into his Icy costume. When the camera pans back to him getting up, the back color of the wall has changed, the sink has lost its handle, and the pipes of the sink are missing and are replaced with a block instead.

Continuity Error
When Gammer stands up in his IcyGamma costume, he is wearing the black hook on his right hand which is accurate to IcyGamma's appearance; the story line dictates he should be wearing it on the wrong hand, which he later is.

Continuity Error
When the camera is panning around the outside of Isar during the middle of the movie, Ryan is seen standing guarding the entrance. When the suspicious guest gets downstairs and heads towards the gun, we can see blood around Ryan which was previously missing. The blood shape also changes when camera changes to first person perspective of the guest, and Ryan's right shoe suddenly appears bloody.

Continuity Error
When IcyGamma takes the gun from Henry, he is sitting in a pile of blood. When the camera pans out and shows Icy running with the weapon, the blood is still there however Henry has disappeared.

Continuity Error
After IcyGamma has fallen out of the window, the generator is seen as off when it should be running.

Continuity Error
In the scene where the suspicious guest fires a bullet into the control room sending Gammer and Murdock hitting the ground, the suspicious guest is seen sitting next to the wall in the hallway. When the camera switches back to the control room, the guest is standing and is in a different position with his gun out.

Continuity Error / Technical Error
In the scene where the suspicious guest fires a bullet into the control room sending Gammer and Murdock hitting the ground, Murdock is wearing a black shirt with black arms when it should be gray. This is due to a lighting error in the filming of the scene.

Incorrectly Regarded As Errors
In the scene where the suspicious guest goes to the ground floor and finds blood and a weapon, there are no bodies. However, due to how the blood pools near the front door and Ryan is standing in the exit with blood on his shoe, one is suppose to assume the bodies were thrown outside into the water.

Trivia
Amy Winehouse sings the song on the radio which Gammer says he enjoyed listening to. At the end of the movie after the credits, a dedication to her is displayed, due to her death during the production.

Trivia
When the suspicious guest shoots Henry from a 1st person perspective of him, you can partially see a yellow duck at the far end door in the room.

Trivia
The scene where Gammer changed into an IcyGamma costume and practices his voice was dubbed the 'cursed scene' after it was filmed over 5 times and each time something would go wrong with the video output, including GUI getting in the way, mysterious shortage of recording after the video exported, or technical errors during the recording.

Technical Error
When the credits roll after the last scene, if you listen carefully you can still hear the wind sound effect for several seconds over the audio track before it cuts off.

Crew / GUI Visible
In the fighting scene near the end of the episode, when it shows Murdock and Gammer standing in the ITD room you can see a chat line from TomTheGeek in the top left, which quickly disappears. It reads "so I".

Trivia
In the scene when Ryan is shown in a flashback getting weapons from a storage facility, you can see a duck in the back room perched on a window.

i remember that duck during filming...

You weren't there, only Tenshi was. :o

But there was a duck in episode 2 that Tenshi made too haha, you would have seen that one.

Do you have any clue at all of what a troll is?

I asked a legitimate question - I'm sorry it's such a touchy subject for you.
Sorry, I was in a terrible mood.

Rather corny voice acting there :P

I didn't understand anything that happened in this installment.

Did you watch the first?

The story is very straight forward in episode 2 because there is little to explain as most of it was done in episode 1.

Story spoiler below
They are in the tower now. The program which Gammer gave Vivian, as explained in the previous episode, shut the windows out so the criminals boated in. They got into the control room, as they said they would in the previous episode, and went onto Isars computer. Gammer then got Icy, kept him hostage in the room demanding he paid him 80 million (which would be done on the ITD computer) and impersonated him to keep the crowds upstairs in the Black Pearl at the party unknowing-- however one guest noticed Gammers hook was on the wrong hand, as Icy is right handed. He goes to investigate and finds a bloody scene downstairs, so he gets a gun and shoots down one of the criminals, Ryan. He then finds the others and there is a shootout. He is killed, but he does manage to hit Henry. Icy takes Henry's gun and does a runner, but gets caught by Gammer who shoots him as a natural flex, sending Icy staggering back out the window to his death.

I was thinking;
If the terrorists just want to take his money, why isn't it called "The taking of IcyGamma's Money"?

lmao

Because they take over Isar Tower in order to get the money. Episode 3 fills in this question a little bit, as there is still more that you don't understand about Gammer and his motives.

Also the original true story which it is based off that happened in Blockland does not include any money transaction obviously.

The goof here is then in the writing of the script.

When you're making a script for a certain context, you always take the context itself into consideration. The viewer should be able to clearly understand what is happening. It's usually a bad idea to try and convey complex emotional concepts through blockland, however tempting the idea may be in theory.

Perhaps. Although I find each viewer has varying intelligence. Some get the story immediately, others miss points or don't understand certain aspects, and as I found out earlier some fail to follow the story at all or get confused over things as simple as who is the villain.

I give far more credit to the audience than I should. However, I'd rather explain to people what certain gestures meant in the movie rather than leave them out and cheapen the production.
