It has been reported that government is pouring millions of the surplus budget into developing defensive systems and weapons since we arrived on Enduva, but official reports now bring the research total at
$59.76 billion dollars. Private industries and independent investors have been raking in the dough with this deal, and tax-hikes are expected next year to increase the spending allowed by the government.
In other news, a flag change around a month ago spurred controversy in the historical society, as the new flag replaces the near 30 year old legend. It's simplicity and overall design are reported to be more aesthetically pleasing, and the Overseer believes it shows more of the nature of Trejirm and her inhabitants.

A-Society:The A-Society's successful launch has provided a bit of moral in the government and around Trejirm, as a nasty war with Darskel has been avoided and is sought to be avoided for a while. The Trejirmian government is planning on proposing a resolution to the A-Society members regarding the use of flamethrowers and land-mines in war. Both outlawed on Earth, were brought back into standard use during the Porlaqian war on Hera, and are still in use on Enduva. Plans have been made to recycle all the supplies in Trejirm and use them to craft new, more advanced weapons.
Weather:A nasty typhoon is expected to impact the northernmost island of New Trejirm, first-responders are already at high alert and partial evacuations have already been successfully executed.
Hera:A satellite has been launched on Hera today to get the first pictures of the planet's surface after the massive tolls of war and the meteorite hit it nearly 10 years ago. Old Trejirm is expected to send a few million more in evacuees to New Trejirm, as some of the bunker-cities have collapsed throughout the nation.
A call for full evacuations of Hera have been debated, but so far the outpost on Hera is considered a key component to New Trejirm's space superiority.
