Author Topic: Steam account suspended - Payment Dispute  (Read 5762 times)

I certainly hope your password was more then just a word. My friend had a simple password, and he lost his account forever. My password is 20 characters long with numbers letters and symbols, memorized.

How would I be able to find this information? My mom won't let me access her account just to scrounge up purchase records.
Well then you aren't getting you account back either, because you pretty much need your mom to help with this thing now. Assuming every transaction was done with her name.

Telling me to shut the forget up is not helping either.
You being a complete loving starfish to everyone in a poor attempt to "help" Comatose is not helping either.

Dammit. Is there any other way?

I'm not being an starfish. I told the guy to do a virus scan. Something happens with one of your accounts, immediately do a virus scan.

You've got to be stuffting me.
Unlikely my ass, do a virus scan anyways you loving idiot.
That's called being an starfish, Oasis.

Most likely not, but you'll never know. Contact Steam Support first.

I already have. I'm just waiting for an email that might never come.

That wasn't my first post in this thread you loving moron.
Keyloggers and phishing sites are probably at play here.
I SEE NO ASSHOLISM HERE.

After he dismissed completely valid advice I broke down.

Well it's Sunday, it might take 1-2 days for a reply.

... Nobody ever said that you were being an starfish in your first post...?
I specifically quoted the post where you were being a complete starfish.
He did not dismiss your advice. He calmly stated that he did not go to phishing sites and it's unlikely that he had a keylogger, then you flip the forget out.

True. People do take Sundays off.

Thing is, if I tell my mom I lost close to 400 dollars worth of games, she'll go ballistic and ask me where I got them all, thinking I've been using her credit card without her permission. But she knows that I don't do that.

She is skeptical about online purchases.

UNLIKELY. Un-loving-likely. Not impossible. My point still stands valid, he did do a virus scan, and my job here is done. Now, why don't you help him out instead of hounding me about how I conduct myself.

There's not much for me to help him with at this point seeing as how he's just waiting for Steam Support at this point.
