THE BEST WEAPON CHOICE?

Bow & Arrow - I like to sneak around and kill from afar!
Melee - Stealth and Mage characters are just wimps. Real men use swords!
Magic - Both Sword and Bow are rendered useless against my spells!

Another thing is that skyrims borders have definitely changed, judging by the slightly different shape of the maps. The current Skyrim map is a bit different from what is seen on maps of Tamriel. Whether this was intentional or if it just happened is yet to be seen, however.

Also, the Dark Brotherhood isn't confirmed, only the thieves guild.
I think that there will be plenty of freelancing assassin quests.
I thought they said the Dark Brotherhood was confirmed in Skyrim. Idk.

What exactly do you mean?
That its more square than all the others?

Since this game seems to take place 200 years after the last and is a whole new set of characters and problems, would I be alright to play this game without having played any other elder scrolls games?

Yes.
Todd Howard said in one Interview that I listened to, "We make this game with new players in mind."

Trust me, NONE of the Elder Scrolls games link together.

Except that the main events in all the previous Elder Scrolls games prophesized the coming of Alduin the World-Eater in Skyrim.
The breaking of the Staff of Chaos in Arena, the resurrection of the Numidium in Daggerfall, the Nerevarine in Morrowind, the opening of the Oblivion gates in Oblivion, and civil war among the citizens of Skyrim, which is beginning after the assassination of their king as TESV begins.
The Elder Scrolls and Alduin's Wall prophesized these events to herald the coming of dragons to Nirn. And as the game begins fledgling dragons have already made their way into the world.
And, of course, that's where you come in.

If by furry you mean Kahjiit, then yes.
Same with the Scalies race, they're still in.

And in the end, all the hype about the next TES game boils down to one question:
What will the beast races look like?

We've seen Khajiit pictures, but I don't know about Argonians yet. I'll likely be a Bosmer first time around.

All i played in Oblivion was kahjiit and argonian
