no, there were other Dragonborn but the septims were the last surviving line

Fast travel, in my opinion, is really just there to give a big "forget YOU" to all the people that put so much effort into constructing the entire game world, now I think about it. I think I'll play through Oblivion without fast travel.

It's there to make the game appeal to a wider audience. People always feel so strongly about fast travel and I don't get why. It's something that is there if you want it, but you never have to use it.

I remember when I first found out that there was a fast travel option, I was so mad because It takes forever to go from place to place.

That being said, Im not going to use fast travel my first 3 playthroughs of Skyrim.

Also, Im surprised, this is the biggest thread about the Elder Scrolls. I know there are other threads for Oblivion and Skyrim but the Oblivion thread is only on page 60 something, and the other Skyrim thread is at 30.
