Obviously more bits are better, but isn't 64 useless if you don't have a 64 bit processor?

Incompatibilities (especially something obvious like that) don't make something perform worse.

Most newer prebuilt computers come with 64bit processors.

64-bit Windows is so outdated.

I use 128 bit Windows 8.

Doesn't 32-bit only allow ~16 million memory addresses?

it's something like ~4.2 billion. so, 4 gigabytes.

Incompatibilities (especially something obvious like that) don't make something perform worse.
I don't see why any performance increase would be worth it if you can't play any games because your graphics drivers don't support 64bit.

I could just imagine the OP upgrading to a 64-bit version of Windows because we all said "it was better" and then messing up his computer.
