Deathclaws are worse in Fallout 2. They take a stuff load of hits and it's only a matter of time before they reach you.

I didn't really like fallout 1 and 2, I got bored with them really quick.
Tactics was fun though.

Fallout 1 and 2 aren't my type of game, I don't like turnbased combat. In Fallout 1 I got out of the vault and then found shady sands. I walked around a bit and talked to people then I got bored and stopped.
I realize I hardly experienced the game but I really didn't enjoy anything about it.

I'd play it. I would just avoid Manhattan as much as possible. Actually, I think Manhattan's broken skyscrapers should just be a cosmetic effect you see in the distance when near Manhattan.

With the latest patches it isn't even that buggy... You might need to patch your game or something.

Oh and Cazadors are a forgetton worse than deathclaws. At least with a high agility/guns you can kill deathclaws with vats. As soon as you run out of vats with cazadors you're dead. Not to mention the poison...

This. I could never get to Jacobstown to save Rex because of the stupid Cazadores.
