Holy stuff.
Do you ever stop hating on games?
Hating on games=/=pointing out that sneak is useless due to the massive amounts of stealthboys you WILL find

I automatically hate Fallout now because I think that increasing points to stealth is useless?

Bombs are still useless, in the old fallout you could blown down locked doors with them. In FO3 or NV you are stuck with hunting down the key, lock picking, hacking, or just forcing it open. Actually I take the useless part back. In new vegas when you are in the garden vault and you have to ignite a gas leak is when they are best used.

There is a hallway that is blocked off by lockers and other junk. Just throw the grenade over that and you will be fine.

No, because you constantly hate on little things.

Buts it cool to place a time bomb and run away. Or place down a c4 and get up close the elevator and detonate it.

Quick question.

Lockpick, Guns, and sneak?

Don't even bother increasing your sneak, you will have stuffloads of stealth boys anyways.

Lockpick may be the most useful skill in the game.

I'm just telling you that sneak is useless to increase because of all the stealth boys that you may find along the game. I didn't say I hated sneak at all, get off my back.

Sneak would be useless to increase even without stealth boys, as long as you are far enough away they'll never find you as you pick them off.

And if you're trying to pickpocket someone you could just load each time you fail.

Obsidian should had done the exact same change they did with speech. Instead of random luck just have pickpocketing match the required skill level.

Thats kind of stupid. Have pickpocketing a certain skill?
I also dont really like the speech system, I think you should be able to have a random chance to access a speech event.

I don't think so, it makes pickpocketing harder and since when does random chance result in a successful pick pocket attempt? I know pick pocketing takes skill, not random chance.

The new speech system is fine. You could order the Enclave president to explode by a speech check just by simply re-loading after each failed attempt. It's not even hard to access that speech attempt selection.

You could do this even if your speech level is below 10 and that's bullstuff.

Just play Fallout 3.
In F3 I actually lowered my charisma down to 1 so that I had points to distribute elsewhere. I just quicksaved before every speech check and kept reloading.
In NV I always tag speech because there are a lot of times you need high speech and it's nice when skills don't feel useless.

I like what they did with speech, it limits out the casuals from re-loading after each failed attempt. You could have a really low speech level in Fallout 3 but still manage to pass each and every single speech requirement just by loading.

I played it right and kept going if Speech forgeted up.
...with one exception, but that was because I was at my friend's house and he made me. :c

>Playing new vegas
>Need lots of money to get into NV
>Go to small casino and load after every failed slots attempt
>Do the same in NV
>Rich in no time

Although there isnt much you can do with caps.
Seeing as i went to the energy weapons store, dragged everything into the bathroom and stole it.
And sold everything i didnt need.
To them...
PLAN IS BOOLITPROOF.
