steady and hydra is useful in hardcore mode, when you have crippled limbs

In hardcore mode chems are a must. I usually collect all my chems and maybe use them for decoration in fallout 3 but for New Vegas there is no way I can survive with out them.

how easy is jet to come by in fo2? i set my strength down to 4 and wanna start using some of the heavier pistols and smgs and jet seems like the best way

One thing I found disappointing about FO:NV is how beat up New Vegas is.
They could have atleast cleaned it up.

There is a stuffload of chem addicts in the casino areas, you can kill any addict you want and no one important will care. Some even have chems on them.

Every game, as soon as I get to Vegas, I get addicted to Whiskey. Then I kill Dixon for getting me addicted. :D

I've only been addicted twice and it only costs about 50 caps to fix that.

In the GECK med-x is called morphine.

They did and then Fallout 3 was banned in australia for it so they changed Morphine to Med-x in all versions.
