Also, I found a Cowboy Repeater. It's the closest I can find to a sniper at this point, so I keep using it and my Caravaneer Shotgun.

I NEED a loving sniper :u

The best sniper you can get early is a modded varmint rifle. As long as you get the sneak criticals and head shots you should be able to pick off most humans without a problem.

If you had armor piercing bullets you won't need headshots.

Personally, I'm liking the Gauss Rifle right now. Less accurate, but one hell of a kick.

you aren't supposed to go there at low levels.
Death Claws are higher level enemies.

Yea that's one thing I didn't like about New Vegas.

I used to use this mod that made it so goggles and hats that include goggles/glasses worked for the Four EYes perk.
Does anyone know what it was?


It also made it so that other hats had some buffs on them that fit with the hat. Such as the Vexillarious Helmet improved sneak because it could be used as camouflage.
