Is a breastplate, legging set and helm of steel good for each melee dwarf? What's a good material for bolts? How is babbie formed?

BREAKIN' NEWS! My ragtag band of chumps nihilichillificated an Ettin. The one death was a civilian mettling where he shouldn't have.

The Ettin was running around in circles leaving a thick trail of blood where he went. It was quite entertaining seeing as I could find him wherever the blood trail lead to.

i know about the reproduction via dorf sporetress but how girl get pragnent? this is for dwarf science class

Replacing the steel warhammer would be bad. If the graphics were more detailed my soldier would probably be cradling it like a baby, and he's already named it.

and the edge doesn't really matter at all in a warhammer.

This is the same reason why Adamantium warhammers are like balsa wood and glance off most of the time. If I have any silver I'll go for it but this world's starved of silver-bearing ores.

A platinum warhammer is the best possible blunt weapon you can get via normal means, which means you stay within the limits of what's supposed to be done (see: not getting slade). Note, platinum warhammers are only made as artifacts.

yeah, it's good.
to satisfy the nobles, however, you're eventually have to dig into stone to engrave walls and such.
engraved walls give dwarves happy thoughts too.
you have a sedimentary layer or what?

I got an artifact cow bone warhammer, though. I'm sure it probably blows but it could be a fun find in Adventurer mode if my SUPERDWARVENLY AWESOME FORT ever falls to something stupid like a dragon.

you know what i just realized?
if dragon bone in incredibly hard, then making bone greaves isn't to bad of a idea
