I found this blue rock called Lapis Luzulis.

It doesn't do anything I think, just another rock that's blue.

aw

rocks get in the way of stockpiles
how do I remove those pesky stones

Jabberers are quite the party animal. They really raised the roof, stirred up some fun and made me make a hospital.

(forgeter had a nickname, "Desertrocks", before we put him down with a bit of the old steel-to-the-face)

Set a garbage dump by placing an area set as a garbage dump with (i), then paint the space, then enter, then press (g). After that, designate stones with d-b-d to be dumped and your dwarves will toss them into the garbage dump, which can be a single 1x1 space and it can hold infinite amounts of stone.
That quote is always useful.

It also seems that crundles have a soft spot, like infants, only it stretches across the whole body. What I'm saying is that they are a tad easier to deal with than Trolls.

I love this game for the effects which you have to imagine

If anyone here has a decent graphics card and over 8gb of memory try embarking on a complete zone, ie as big as you can get it to be

post fps if you actually can get it to work

If I recall correctly from the wiki some stone is worth more than other stone. Optionally it can be used to fulfill the dreams of mudkip in dwarves through an altar

DF is actually controlled by your processor mostly. I have 8GB of memory and an Intel Core i7 - 2670QM and 2.2GHz. 'cuse me while I try that.

"caves" are actually the caverns, there's 3 of them on all standard worlds. Dig more.

EDIT:

After I hit confirm, the game froze for about 40 seconds then the game just closed without any error message...

You can change the embark size???

I should make it slightly bigger because having a tiny area sucks.

"UMKH: Resize Local Area"

Once I did a 7x7 and maxed at 10-15 fps

your quote is very confusing

if I follow the steps, there's a garbage point, but the dwarves never put stuff in it
