my dwarves (100+) are running low on food. what is a fast way to getting food?
Farming. Farming is very fast if you use plump helmets and good farmers, which can be eaten raw.

Dwarf: Hey kids! Urist Mc!!Dwarf!! here! What's the thing we learned about yesterday?
Kids: DON'T STEP IN THE DANGER ROOM!!!

king of page 100 gets 100 mint gold-encrusted gold coins with emerald spikes

Urist Mc!!Dwarf!! told them not to step into the danger room, and they didn't listen. There's another child in the hospital with severe bone breakage and pale with blood loss from the training spears in the danger room and another with 10 something wounds all over his body, each one having atleast a broken bone and many torn open badly. That child also has about 7 infections and is somehow still alive.

Natural selection at work.

A child of mine decided to walk into a deep hole.

The whole loving cavern was covered in blood, and he was never seen again.

My friend had the idea of the 1 dwarf challenge. You start our and put all but 1 dwarf in the military. You proceed to have all of the military dwarves go die and try to make a successful fortress with only 1 dwarf.

Finally, we managed to get the liaison to the fortress without losing his head and getting a few new ones carved for him by Snakemen and the fortress is now a barony.

Hey, buddy, your tree called: it isn't PREGNANT YET.

Kill him!
When the hippy comes back around he's probably going to insult us again. One more short joke and he's leaving with a few missing parts, including but not limited to his head and spine.

Tell him he go forget himself with the trees, then stab his ass

Keeper Diplomat: "This is such a pleasant home you carved for yourselves...."

I get a feeling he was lying to us.

On the bright side, Lokum has become a surgeon to stitch up those wounds.
