why do you all stuff on this topic
let us buy the game if we want to

Alright, but please check it out for yourself first. Hundreds of people do not lie.

My neighbor's dad works for Activision and supposedly said CoD9 will be Black Ops 2. If he's actually telling the truth, that's pretty bad.

Also, could someone explain the packages thing? Are they attempting to copy Battlefield or what?

the engine is actually from 1999. idtech 3, which was developed for use in quake 3. it's heavily modified, of course, but the underlying engine is still idtech 3
also stop bitching

No, the engine's been in-house since CoD2...maybe they've reused assets from id tech, but I don't think it was built off of it.

What the crap are you talking about? My friend's crashed on PS3 and it gave him that message, so I google searched it to get a picture to post. Why don't you try actually searching for yourself before making random accusations just because you're a CoD fanboy who's reluctant to admit the game is a complete rip.

The engine itself is from 2005. There are reused buildings, perks, and killstreaks from MW2. The game should be a MW2 expansion pack, not another $60 spent on the same gameplay.
MW3 still looks like a game from 2010.
Wow, I'm surprised. People are still dumb enough to buy rehashed games, after many original games came out it's still the same thing. Same game, different graphics/achievements. I would probably get mw3 if it looked the slightest bit different. Seriously, can someone please explain, giving me
the most greatest reason ever, why the forget would I buy a rehashed game? Because it's funny because of all this hype I would atleast expect something different.

Oh my god, GET THE forget OUT. Go make your own topic if you hate CoD so much.
I mean come on, it's as if all you guys gonna do is go into a topics about a game you don't like and others do and just stuff on it? I mean, go play your game you're being a fanboy about if it's so super dooper extrafantacular instead of bashing people with varying opinions. Seriously, on EVERY loving PAGE someone's being a richard because they don't like CoD and think some other game is better.
This is a topic made for the people who like MW3 to discuss and people to voice their opinions, not just for  people to spew stuff out of their mouth like "its copy pasta lol" or "lolol game sucks because cod sucks"

I never said anything about opinions, I actually respect them. It's just when they are determined to force it people's throats by posting it OVER and OVER in a topic with a different opinion is when I get just a wee bit pissed.

He just cropped it, lol.

I got the same error.  Stop jumping to answers.

Also, related.

Who said anything about hating CoD? The hate is all directed towards the mindless consumer whores buying a sub-par, overpriced sequel and at the developers for not changing anything.

CoD4 is an amazing game, and was a nice breath of air from World War II (CoD2 is still the best CoD).

On-Topic: I'm not getting it. Deal with it.
Fair enough.

I still honestly don't get the copy-paste deal. The games look a good bit different.

Also what's funny is that a good bit of those user reviews say something about BF3. EA did a good job at managing their game, as imo everybody say the uber-realistic BF3 and then saw MW3 and were "eww rehashed stuff"

yeah I mean the guns are slightly different that means it's a totally different game and definitely worth $60.

>nothing new in MW3

Oh sure, there's totally nothing new like weapon proficiency or weapon levels or revamped killstreaks or any new gamemodes or a prestige shop or any cool new features other than bugfixes and reskins.
