It really does say "Modern Warfare 2" for this error message.  I got it too and I own MW2 for PC and it prompted me with that.

It's small things like this that really point out how little effort was put in.

Crytek was scrutinized for the same thing when the PC version of Crysis 2 said "Press Start" on the main menu.

I guarantee, if Crysis 2 was shipped as "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3", it would have gotten twice as much flak for that error.

Actually no, but it got a lot of flak for literally mimicing CoD multiplayer gameplay

It was pretty much a fancy-looking CoD with a nanosuit and a completely different plot which explained nothing from the first one.

Either way, you're missing the point by thinking I'm trying to stuff on the game.  I'm enjoying MW3 right now, I like it.  The developer, however, is lazy.

I've been playing FPS games since I was ten, and, well, I'm not quite disappointed, but it feels like MW3 is missing something. I think they could have done better  with the maps. And the graphics look.. off. i can't quite put my finger on it, but they just look weird.
I like Spec Ops, but, as usual, the campaign was very disappointing. especially after playing an open game like Deus Ex. and yes, they are hard to compare in terms of gameplay, but I wish the path to success wasn't so linear.
