I wanted to know what you guys would like to see in the next big Blockland update.
Here's mine:

It would be extremelly convenient to be able to insert an event line in between other events. (It pisses me off when I realize that I missed something 10 lines back and then have to redo them all again to be able to fix it.)


There's add-ons that allow you to do this.

It can matter in some cases.

When it comes to several VCE events in one event sequence it can only work if put in the right order.

Agreed, it bugs me sometimes when they're out of order.

Also something like below might be nice. I've wanted it for years. It may speed things up at times...

Yes, Sub categories. You put your mouse over fireRelay and up pops "fireRelay", "FireRelayDown", "FireRelayEast", "FireRelayNorth" ect. The same would go for Set, put your mouse over it and up pops "setColor", "SetColliding", "setBotAim", "setRendering", "setMusic" ect. And of course all output events would be put to sub categories, VCE, all in one, Content events, all in one. (I just showed Relays and "Set" becuase doing the rest would take longer. And it wouldn't stop at Output Events, Imput events would be nice to for example the TDM add-on adds a lot of Imput events to the Event window, such as "onTeam1Capture" "onTeam2Capture" "onTeam3Capture" (all the way too six teams) and it doesn't stop there, dont forget "onTeam1Touch" "onTeam2Touch" onTeam3Touch" ect. wouldn't it be nice to have that all in a sub category. This would help you event soooo much faster, just put your mouse over the "onTeam" Imput event and it pops up just like in the picture above then click the one you need and move on to the "Target" then The "Output Event". Anyway although this isn't needed I'd very much like it. Anyone else think this is a good idea?

What I would like to see is a paint effect that can darken/lighten a bricks color. A feature like this would triple color set usage.

Agreed. Sadly Badspot is too lazy to release v20 as there are no major bugs to fix.

Events they relay on cancelEvents and such need to be ordered correctly. When I make events to turn bricks a color while a player stands on it, it uses cancelEvents to prevent turning back if the player is still there.

v20 is going to have an engine fix to help RTB4 for one. It has a lot of important fixes, but this topic isn't about fixes.

My suggestion for the next update is to have at least one more digit for numbers.
6 digits is not enough.
