Why can't you just deal with killing zombies, I don't see why you want to specifically kill realistic images of children.  Pixelated or not, they're still children.

It's not that he wants to kill fake children, it's just stupid how they can't include them because people think killing fake children is immoral, but killing fake adults isn't. There is no real difference between the two, it's just cosmetic and makes more sense for there to be children.
