Damn you people.
My school doesn't have any of that..
My school only has these old early 2000's computers.

Same. Why does your school have so much money?

BETTER THEN THESE FRIGGIN SMART BOARDS >:C
Go Smartboards

LosEncinos :D

Why are your schools so rich?

BETTER THEN THESE FRIGGIN SMART BOARDS >:C

No kidding. EVERY ROOM IN MY SCHOOL HAS A SMART BOARD!

My schools $53,000 grant was spent on one room, with fancy looking desks that when you pulled the lever the monitor came out. While these are LCD Monitors, They are about 14" and are VGA. Also, the NEW computers have 256HDD and 512MB of RAM.

Macbooks,Pc's,Ipod's,Ipad's
Ujelly?

so..... what happens when kids begin stealing them?

Like I said, each kid is assigned a certain iPad, such as number 16, and if one goes missing all kids who use them are questioned, because we return them at the end of class. We don't take them home.

Also, there is a Mitsubishi projector in each room, with a SmartBoard, and the teacher has his/her macBook Air to use for the SmartBoard. The projector is also hooked up to the VCR/DVD player, as all of the TVs are old and small. It makes the resolution absolute stuff though.

God damnit. For me, every room has a smart board, and every desktop computer has Windows XP.
Is the fact that I go to a DODEA School a reason? And Helpless, you lucky bastard.

okay, so basically if i was assigned #16 and managed to get my hands on #18, no one would suspect me.

"LOL IPADS CAN HAVE SERIOUS USES"

Horse stuff.  iPads are entertainment devices and if they become tools of everyday life I'll convince everyone to move over to Android-based tablets.
You have not seen http://classics.uc.edu/pompeii/index.php/news/1-latest/142-ipads2010.html then.

They have cameras in every hallway lol

plus you would have to be in the last hour, and you can't take your bag to classes, so you would be walking down the halls with an obvious tablet-looking thing. And on top of that the teacher would see you walking out with it, they always watch us put them away.

My school bought 32 netbooks for each department in the school this year. They're pretty cool, and they can do far more than an iPad, and they cost about $200 less.

They're even bad for entertainment.

The only thing they are having issues with is Flash. They can do everything the teacher needs them to do...so far.
