Author Topic: Is there any possible way to make WoW feel new again?  (Read 1197 times)

I miss this game. I remember when I made my first Night Elf. It felt so new and shiny. I played WoW for probably 4 years before it just felt... Old.

Now i'm installing it again. I'm hoping that it will feel new and I will have fun once again. But just incase, is there any way for me to make WoW feel fresh?

Many thanks.

New faction. New race. New class. New server. If you did PvE do PvP stuff.
Tada.
Super easy.

Form a guild, and play on a class you never play.
And do a different faction so you level in different places.

You could try swapping what you did completely, I jumped from DPS to Healer which gave me a few months more enjoyment, Then i left to heal in rift.

Is rift better? The gameplay feels really weird to me :o

Feels weird? It's the same as wow.

imo They forgeted up WoW so badly.

Played it since the midst of Burning Crusade, when the highest level was 70 and it was rare to find someone on a mount.  Now they hand stuff out and 'upgraded' it to a 'better' form.

That's why I quit.  Unlike MapleStory.  Played that since '05.  Still new and fresh.

I know what you mean.
WoW was fun when I first started playing and didn't know what I was doing.

Wants I learned how to play well enough it got boring.
"Good" players have a rotation of attacks that they do over and over again, its very repetitive and boring. It's also very unrewarding, unlike singleplayer games where when you do a quest it actually changes things instead of nothing happening except for an exp gain.

Sorry, I meant the class/spec system.

That's not that weird. Just each class can do each thing (apart from mages can't tank, Trion are tribals)
