If you get it for PC, you can transfer your saves between the systems.  However, the PC version is buggy as hell and I actually enjoyed playing it on a rented xbox version more than on PC.  If you have it for xbox, take my advice and keep it for xbox, because skyrim works best by far on that system.  Of course, you will not have easy access to mods and the console, which are still possible, just more difficult.  The base game for Skyrim is much more fun to play on console.

I was specifically told by this person I know on MapleStory that the Xbox version is very buggy. The person is going to get it over Steam, as well as getting Steam in general so we don't have to talk over MapleStory. I'm sure all versions are equally buggy, but the PC version has more possibility to correct the bugs with wider access to the game.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOUSE

When someone is talking to you, changing areas will make them enter it with you until they're finished talking. This might have something to do with player cutting important dialog short and loving up the game, but it really shouldn't be applied to ALL NPCs, because then that happens.

It's hilarious because that kettle trick actually works.

Because the NPCs have unusually realistic line of sight. Obviously not immensely realistic, but the point is as long as the eye area can see any part of you, it can see you. Otherwise, you're free. The problem is they always shrug off the item suddenly.

duh
anyways

That guy livestreamed the other night.

Another reason i was considering getting it for PC is multiplayer mod if it ever gets finished :D

buggy as hell? what? what? what? I have not experienced a single bug that doesn't exist on consoles and consoles are known to have more gamebreaking problems than the pc. And the rest of your post was entirely loving opinion based and I can't disagree with you more.

Same game, three different ratings, all based essentially on how well polished or buggy it is on that system.  I enjoyed the base game more on the Xbox because there absolutely were less bugs, or at least the bugs were less prevalent.  The PC controls don't make as much sense since it is clearly based around a controller, and menus still don't work very well with a mouse unless you get a mod to fix it.  That said, mods and console access are wonderful and too much work to set up on a console.

Can you cite please? Because as it stands, any site can bullstuff ratings and it looks like you're just using it to an advantage at the moment.

Plus ratings don't mean loving anything.

metacritic, its the only site whose ratings I really trust, because individual ratings are not nearly as reliable

why are you calling this an "advantage" for me?  Advantage would indicate that I am competing for something

I never trust any ratings ever, unless the only ratings a game gets are all really low. THere have been countless times where I completely disagree with ratings I see on websites such as metacritic.

Well, metacritic is a compilation (if that is a word) of usually a couple dozen ratings, so I wouldn't expect any bias or weird rating to affect it seriously.  Metacritic doesn't actually rate anything themselves.  If any rating is reliable, it is the averaged ratings from metacritic.

>Xbox gets 2 more points in a critic rating.
>Xbox version is now omnipotent

I found the fork and knife on High Hrothgar but I can't pick them up.
When I shout at them to move the fork keeps falling through the ground, what do :(

Also Xbox version so no noclipping.

Never mind my geniusness got them both to not fall through.
Dual wield fork and knife combo ftw.

SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME

-spni;f)

yeah, i found out that if you're in the middle of talking to someone as you enter your house, the will go in with you.
braith has entered my house three times.

If you guys are interested in reading game play-through "diaries" this is a very good one.

The guy attempts to play the game as if he were an npc, not going on any adventures or anything. If you think this sounds odd or boring read this quote:

Quote from: BlackCompany
At first I didn't get it.

Then I realized that these adventures are a testament to the immersive quality of Skyrim. To the scope and breadth of the world, as well as the choices extant within that world. To the freedom each player has to create their own adventure (or not) as they choose.

Also, they're mostly hilarious.

So here is to Skyrim...a game which allows unprecedented levels of player freedom and choice not perhaps in dialogue options but in truly wide open play styles. Here is to a world where each adventure (or lack thereof) is yours to approach as you would, from whatever angle you choose. Where every NPC has lost something they lack the courage to get back themselves, and every cave and canyon could hide a dead body waiting to burn you.

Here's to a world where even refusing to play the game is somehow entertaining in its own right.

Yeah, the Elder Strolls are pretty great.
