there was a ruin in Morrowind named Addadshashanammumehrunes' razor isn't worth it, you'd technically have to hit enemies 100 times to just get a one-hit kill once
blade of woe is much more desirable
I thought it was 5% chance?

I thought it was 5% chance?
pretty sure it's 1%
I'd check it right now, but I keep it in Lydia's inventory and she seems to have run off somewhere right now

You can't rely on stealth in a fight when an elder dragon is tearing at the throats of your loved ones.
That's why I carry a brace of Daedric swords for use when circumstances begin to go beyond my control.

Percentages are independent. Like a coin flip.

The technical probability of a coin flip is 50-50, but you can get 30-20 if it happened. So with the dagger you could get 5 insta-kills in a row, unlikely, but possible because each hit is independent of the last.

and then you would likely go around 500 hits without any

I prefer dual wielding daggers.
like a true friend, maces are much more effective and can also be dual-wielded

Stealth 100, crouch, dragon loses sight of you, Merhunes razor to the face.

Until you get yol'd in the face.
Neither can you rely on magic.

Sword and shield authentic all the way.

Bound weapons and mage armor is better than your incredibly heavy steel.

Bound weaponry is equal to daedric, and is weightless.

Nothing is more satisfying than using a dual cast destruction spell to stagger your enemies, and then trapping them in a stunlock.

destruction magic's fine, just don't go burning down any buildings

What are these balls of light under my eyes? They're annoying the hell out of me.

>Mage armor vs lovey steel plate

Nop

daedric armor and steed stone; daedric hammer
forget all
damn you to oblivion, all of you
I am ruler of Tamriel

Enchantment/alchemy glitch.

Mages win.

Don't have to be mage to do that.

At last, one-handed 100.

Shrouded robes, gloves, boots, and hood
Shrouded armor and cowl made my character look like a scrawny old geezer with a big head. So I went for the robes and hood while keeping the gloves and boots for muffling and x2 crit damage. So now sneak attacks with daggers do x30 damage.
